A Journey of Retro Gaming

I have decided to embark on a journey of retro gaming. That is to say, GBA games and old 1990s~ PC games. My background is smaller in both than I'd like it to be, namely because I was always a Playstation girl from day one. The Nintendo handhelds have always had a place in my heart due to Pokemon franchise, but in the GBA days, I didn't have enough money to pursue it. And with old PC games, my family's computer was so awful, slow, and had such a small hard drive that to play any one game we had to uninstall the previous one we'd had on.

You can see how this would be a problem.

Therefore, my retro gaming project. With each game that I cover, I'll post a bit of history on it as well as the normal things. Provided that I can finish what I'm reading at the moment (which is good, and therefore can't be put aside), I'll start something tonight. I'll tag the project under "retro," though I'll have to add Fire Emblem: Rekka no Ken post-factum, since it is a GBA game, after all.*

* "Post-factum" means "retroactively," but I didn't want to pun there. Thesaurus.com. Yeah, I'm that savvy. And don't add apostrophes in most cases where you think you need them (such as after referring to such a people as the Smiths, the Joneses, or the Nobles, or RPGs-- otherwise the English nerds will come and STEAL YOUR CAKE).
